The World Bank Group and UNESCO have joined forces with the government of Lebanon to enhance mutual understanding and support dialogue between host communities and refugees. Through the "Butterfly" initiative, Lebanese students and their displaced counterparts worked together to produce artworks that are currently being displayed at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, DC, as children and teenagers weave stories about the topic of coexistence and portray them in drawings on canvas. The initiative was designed and implemented in partnership with the World Bank Group's Arts Program and included 132 art workshops held in 22 Lebanese public schools across the country.
