Regional Workshop on Statistical Business Registers for the Arab Countries

Within the framework of cooperation with regional and international organizations concerned with official statistics issues, the Arab Institute for Training and Statistical Research cooperated with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) to organize a regional workshop on “Statistical Business Registers for the Arab Countries” aiming to:

• Assist Arab countries in developing and maintaining administrative records.
• Provide a framework for statistical samples at a low cost.
• Review business concepts and methodologies used in statistical business registers.
• Exchange ideas and opinions on the topic between participants and experts.
