Japan's Voluntary National Review Report on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (2017)

This report explains Japan’s efforts to establish an SDGs implementation framework, including setting up the SDGs Promotion Headquarters and formulating the SDGs Implementation Guiding Principles. It also provides examples of Japan’s domestic and international efforts in line with Japan’s priority areas which have been set in relation to each goal of the SDGs. To implement the SDGs, the efforts of the entire nation, including the involvement non-governmental actors, are essential.
